At Pakolla, we will answer all your questions regarding our photo reporting services in businesses, either on this page or by email. Ask us all the questions that go through your mind, as long as it remains on the subject of photographs for companies, we will have the answers. 

We are teleworkers. Being on the road with our customers, it is not necessary to increase our environmental impact by having offices in which we will not be.

Our billing method is based on three main elements:

• The time spent with you taking your photos;
• The equipment used, if we need to rent an additional light or reserve a specific space to carry out the session;
• Travel: if it is a distance to do with our cars then a travel cost (per kilometer) will be added to the estimate and the invoice. If the trip is by plane or train as well as the hotel, we will validate together, but it is likely that we will ask you to pay the costs directly.

You will therefore understand that it is personalized, but write to us to request a quote.

To ensure our presence at your event, it is best to contact us as soon as possible. In this way you will be assured that our photographers will be present.

We strongly recommend a meeting to make sure we are on the same page with your goals. It allows you to get to know in addition to starting to plan the moments to photograph and to answer many questions. It can take place in person, by videoconference or phone.

This meeting is not compulsory, if it is just for an event you can simply send us an email with the following information:

• Exact locations (for calculating travel);
• List of photos to take (to be sure not to miss anything);
• The number of hours required on site;
• The budget (if you know it);
• Other relevant information to add to the quote.

You will have access to a virtual gallery for 3 months (from the date of delivery of the photos) from which you will be able to download all the photos at once or make a selection. You can also share this link with your participants, so they can keep a memory of these memorable moments.

Of course and for our greatest pleasure! Our only limit is our imagination, apart from that, we go everywhere on the globe.

In general, it takes 5 business days to send you the link to your photos. If we need more time, we will notify you in advance.

It depends. We give all the photos that we consider good, but the exact number can be variable. It changes according to your requests, different activities, time spent on site...

We try to always photograph from several angles as well as near and far the different subjects, in addition to taking photos vertically and at the horizontal.

No, the photos are not free of copyright, the author remains Pakolla - Name of the photographer. However, a contract with us grants you a commercial license, so you can promote your services and products without worries. This license does not allow you to resell the photos.

This license is valid without limit of time or space, and this, on current media as well as those in the future. In short, no matter where on the planet or when you use the photos and whether it is on a poster or on a social network that does not yet exist, you have the right to share them to promote your business.

This license is only valid for the signatory of the contract, not for a third party.

Our eye is our first tool, assisted by our cameras to present our vision of your company or event. Concretely, we use professional Canon and / or Sigma cameras for cameras and lenses.

For more security, we have everything in duplicate: case, batteries, memory card, etc. We are therefore always ready to take your photos.

It all depends on the contract and the customer's requests.

Sometimes our customers ask us to follow a billing schedule, in these cases we follow our example.

At certain times, we invoice after each event (for example: 5 meetings are scheduled at 3 week intervals, then we will produce 5 invoices, one after each meeting).

All the photographs that we deliver are retouched. At what point ? It is according to the sensitivity of the one who does the post-treatment, but it is certain that the following points will be treated: contrast, light, colors.

On the other hand, we remain faithful to our style of photo reporting and therefore you will recognize yourself in the photos.

You can see below some examples of touch-ups we are doing.

• For portraits, we highlight the eyes and correct the wrinkles on the clothes.
• For the other photos, we adjust what is unsightly like the branches of dead wood on the snow or the cranes working on the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

Of course, write to us or call us as soon as possible to immediately put the session back on our agenda.

Even if we will be sorry to see you leave, you can cancel a contract with us at any time. Your refund will be 100%, regardless of the date you cancel.

We are classic on this side, by transfer, credit card or check. If, however, you find an original way to pay us, tell us about it, we are always curious.

Not at all, our journalistic photo style allows us to capture natural images of everyone, even and above all, of those who do not like to be photographed. So breathe, we will get to have everyone on your team.

If we are free, we will take this contract with pleasure. Just write to us to discuss the details together.

There are two restrictions regarding your photos:

• You cannot sell the photos that we give you (e.g. on Shutterstock or Getty Images or Pixabay).
• If someone which is on photos during your congress or event decides that they do not want you to use the photos they are on, it is therefore very important to put these images aside and let us know.

We encourage you! For a greater variety in your photos of corporate portraits, it is preferable to bring one or two outfits. If you don't have another, you can simply take off the jacket you're wearing for a slightly more casual version.

Unless you indicate otherwise, we may use the photos we have taken during a contract with you to promote our services. It allows our other customers to see what we do, it's our portfolio for our site and our social networks.

We keep a backup of all the photos we give to our customers. If you lose your photos, send us a message so that we provide you with a WeTransfer link to download them again.
